Perceived impact of climate change on the management of secondary schools in north central states of nigeria.

Abstract

The questionnaire was face validated by two experts in Educational Administration and planning, and one expert from Measurement and Evaluation all from the Faculty of Education, University of Nigeria Nsukka. The internal consistency reliability co-efficient of the instrument for the clusters obtained through Cronbach alpha method were 0.86, 0.70, 0.90, 0.90 and 0.91 for clusters A to E respectively.

The instrument had overall reliability index of 0.95. Out of 1,602 copies of the questionnaire that were distributed, 1,545 were returned. Data was analysed using the mean scores, standard deviations and t-test. Mean scores and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions while t-test statistics was used to test the null hypotheses at 0 05 level of significance.
