Abstract
The survey of good filing system and classification is one that has got to do with a classification in use in the personnel department of federal polytechnic Nekede Owerri. In an office where there is no good filing system and classification, it is bound to fail in its dealings within and outside the organization. The survey of filing system is very significant and cannot be over emphasized in terms of records filing. It is easier to refer to a particular document at nay point in time especially when documents are properly filed.
