One research question and two hypotheses were used and tested statistically with mean and standard deviation with reference mean of 2.50 and t-test analysis at 0.05 level of significance respectively. The result shows that the mean scores of six of the ten variables of the conduct of SSCE were not significant as they were below the reference mean of 2.50 while four were significant. The result of the two hypotheses shows that there is significant difference between the conduct of SSCE by WAEC and NECO examinations in the urban and rural areas. Based on the findings, it was concluded that the two examination bodies need to improve their facilities for smooth conduct of the respective examinations.
